Dear Editor,
Here is an example of the late Representative Jeannette Wallace's dedication to the service of her constituents. Representative Wallace made time to talk with my wife and me on different occasions during the recent legislative session about a memorial we were supporting on campaign contribution limits and reporting of contributors. Although I had been a candidate for the Democratic Party nomination to run against her, she not only listened to what we had to say, she actually offered her support. We liked and respected Mrs. Wallace. I hope the next person to fill her job will bring the same willingness to listen and work with any and all people of good will, for the benefit of this District and the state of New Mexico, as did Mrs. Wallace.
